2009 Pameran Grafik Berkomputer - Part 1

This week was one of the most hectic, exciting, interesting, tired and busy day ahead. I'm proud to say that finally my graphic exhibition has been organized successfully on 7 May 2009! The pain, blood, sweat, tears, stress, tension and pressure has been paid off. Now I don't need to get worried to much about my last year Form 4 works and Form 5 Exhibition works as I have finally done it. Right now I have only few more to learn before SPM comes.

Oh, some of you may think that I only gonna display my design work and my product is only for viewing in the computer (those logos, posters, whatsoever) since this is not a real, established company right? Shame on you. See the below pictures and description to understand what I mean. A real product, with my company sticker embed on them...which it will become my own product lol.

First of all, I need to display something on my booth. And I mean real thing, real stuff. So I called my friend Amer Farid (known as Houza_Rima in some forums) which he owns a AE86 Trueno to hook me up with some stuff. He got few stuffs but I only asked for the 4AGE manifold, 4AGE throttle body and a small turbo timer from him.

Oh and yeah I asked him for this stuff since last month, but he's been busy so one week before the exhibition he delivered all the goodies safely and directly to me at my house.

CLICK AT THE PICTURE FOR THE ORIGINAL SIZE

The turbo timer, looks simple. His car was once turbocharged, but now it has turned back to its original root.

The manifold (quite big), I had to wash it first because it was dirty so this is the before pic.

After! Look so much better and spanking new eh? Eventhough it is in different angle, yeah I think you can spot the differences.

Then the throttle body, this one is broken but no one will notice it. But..

..it was super FREAKING dirty! Yeah it doesn't look that much in here, but you can see that its all black and dirty inside.

So the cleaning process started, and I cleaned it up using petrol. Those hoses pipes right there are air con hoses and it acts as an extra or backup in case I don't get anymore car parts after this.

This is what it looks like after I clean it up. SHINY! You can also see that the propeller inside (I don't know what it is call, someone care to enlighten me?) is now super clean, and you can see the originally brownish red color well? Compare this and the one above.

Clean and looks spotless.

Then I decided to call my school friend Yasin (known as yasin_1993 in most forums, and I did called/asked him for this since few months ago) since his friend had a chop shop named Lim which specialist in selling high performance Japanese car parts and halfcuts from cars such as Supra and Skyline. At first it go well, as Lim agrees to borrow me some of his unused parts to me. But few months later, bad news arrives. Lim said that his friend didn't want to borrow me the parts because they were "skeptical and afraid" that I couldn't take care all of these stuff. When I heard that, I don't get mad at Lim, Yasin and his friend because I already expect this would happen, so in preparation of this exhibition I already have a backup plan. So I asked Yasin to say thanks to Lim, and as for me I'm going to use Plan B.

Fortunately enough Yasin has some part spares of his own too, some given by his friend to him. He borrowed me a lot of stuff. Mostly electronic devices but I don't mind. At least I have a thing to display rather then nothing. Check the below pictures to see what he has in store.

Two amazingly big exhaust pipes taken from a Lexus LS400 1JZ turbo. The exhaust hole from bottom to top measures and amazingly 5" inches, so you can imagine how big the hole width was! The exhaust is dirty when I first took it, but then I polished it back to its glory and now it shines.

And then I have this, a genuine TRD radiator cap and CUSCO radiator cap. Talk about brand, huh?

Then a Toyota MR2 middle logo lamp or something, care to enlighten me Yasin? Polished it too.

Talk about electronics, this is HKS Speed Limit Defencer or simply known as HKS SLD. This device will kill off your limiter, so you can go more above the speed limiter that you car once restrict you from going. Cool huh? But this one is the older model version I think, the new one is totally different and looks better.

Finally an Apex'i AVC-D Electronic Boost Controller taken from Yasin's dad Kancil L200 Turbo. It's a low-cost, high flexibility boost controller. Easy to use analog face panel, speed sensitive boost control, and has a scramble boost feature. Nice features..

The third and final friend that I called is simply the best one of the rest. He is one of the best drifters in Malaysia, he's from Team Toyo Drift, he drifts a RB27 powered Cefiro A31; he is known as Nazrul Afifi a.k.a Along. He is the one who hooked me up with a three brand new stuff and one spare secondhand stuff. This is what I call true friend and idol who trust his fan and friend that much. Thank you very much Along. Speaking of what he did borrowed to me, well don't be shock. I personally requested this from him and he simply said "Okay no problem".

Now prepare to be more amazed.

A BRAND NEW Toyo Proxes R1R and T1R. Isn't this too much for just a school graphic exhibition? Yeah actually I'm trying to push the boundaries and done something new for school's graphic exhibition, so ignore me and my craziness.

Now, whats the freaking size of these two tires? Answer:

"HOLY SH*T PERGH!". That is what my first reaction when I see their sizes. I mean R1R 235 aren't that small either, but when you see the T1R 275 is just insane. It's daaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmn big and huge. That T1R size is equivalent to 6 or 8 195 sizes tire. Mix those 6 or 8 195 sizes tires and walaa you will get this one. It's big!

But it doesn't end here. I asked him for a Intercooler (a turbo car cooling system) which I expect it to be small...but it ain't either. They are big too LOL! Guess this what kind of stuff you will get when you ask a Gila Kuasa (power craze) drifter. Damn!

Open sesame...and then I'll go HOLY SH*T again when I first take a peek of it. It's a brand new Infinite Skyline GTR R33/R34 intercooler or simply put it is meant for RB26 engine. The radiator thickness...is 4" inches thick...which means its a freaking big intercooler yo!

And lastly a secondhand RB25 Skyline turbine. It's quite big and heavy, but they are nice for 400hp I think. This baby can bost around RM1200.

That's all for Part 1. Part 2 will come later where I'm gonna show you my booth and rest of my product...in graphic design work of course since you've seen all these real life stuff.
